For one week, at twilight, Jaffa Road will go back to being a central artery of movement-not only for bypassers hurrying to their destinations, but for human experience, creativity, and lingering.

'Saf' (Threshold) Festival explores the movement that occurs within a pause, and the shifting rhythms found in transit points- both physical and conceptual.

Situated along Jaffa Road in Jerusalem, the festival operates within liminal spaces: areas designed for waiting, passing through, and crowd circulation, as well as abandoned buildings that evoke a sense of anonymity.

For a limited time, these locations are transformed into spaces to inhabit and experience, rather than merely pass through.

'Saf' hosts a diverse array of cultural and artistic events that unfold and examine boundaries, threshold states, and the spaces in between.
